Before lunch we attended Gym class with Mr. Manchester. After lunch we read a book called First Day Jitters and discussed how some kids might be nervous on the first day.
We went over folder system for the classroom (each subject has a color) and the planner system. Kids are responsible for writing down all homework in their planners each day. The teachers sign the planner at school, then the parents sign the planners at home each day.
Then we had a short recess and went to bus families, which is a short activity to help kids get acquainted with the kids on their bus.

- Visit the blog.
- Decorate your writers notebook. A letter was sent home describing this.
- Read school rules and policies and sign your planner with your parents.
