Science: Each child was assigned an animal.  We will be officially beginning the research project next week.  Many children wisely chose to check out books on their animals before break to get a head start.  If they read these books, that is great.  If they do not have time to read them, that is not a problem.  We will make sure everyone can do the assignment.

On Saturday March 9^th people from the class will be going to see Oz: The Great and Powerful.  Two students from last year’s class acted in the movie.  If kids want to come, they need to bring their parent(s) or another adult that agrees to be responsible for them and watch the movie with them in the theatre.  This is not a school event. Movie starts at 11:15 Saturday am.  We will be going to Palladium 12 at 250 North Old Woodward Avenue, Birmingham, MI 48009.  The main entrance is off of Hamilton Row.
